I've had this extra screen for my laptop for a few months now. Works perfectly! Comes with two cables to connect to a USB port and also to connect to a Type-C port (like the new Samsung Galaxy S10). Comes with 12 circular magnets with adhesive on one side to attach to the back of your laptop monitor. You have to use 4 of them, so there are 8 extra. The instructions state that these magnets can be removed from the laptop by heating them to loosen the adhesive. I have two laptops, one for travel and one for home, so I used 8 magnets, 4 on each laptop. Horizontal Placement: If you're following the instructions for placing the magnets on the back of your laptop monitor, it says to place them so that this secondary monitor is offset about 1 inch to the right of your screen, but I'd recommend it to do wrong. on the side a little too much, not too little. Because after opening the screen, it has a hinge with which you can tilt the monitor back and forth. On one of my laptops I just placed it so that it was very easy to tilt the screen forward (didn't really try backwards), but on another laptop I underestimated it a bit and had to move. Magnets to tilt it forward the way I want it. I recommend that you hold it with one hand on the back of the laptop while sliding the screen out and rocking it back and forth to confirm movement and proper placement before deciding exactly where to place the magnets. Also the instructions for attaching the magnets are pretty solid and went very well. Vertical Placement. Another consideration is to ensure the bottom of the screen is supported by the surface your laptop is resting on. Decide where to place the magnets. Great screen. I'm glad I bought it because it helps me be more productive since I can see two screens at the same time.
