I needed a small screen to replicate the size of a laptop to pair with a Mac mini and replace my old MacBook Pro. I also wanted 17 inches instead of 15 for better visibility. I am incredibly happy with the quality and display of this monitor and the little stand that it comes with. It was also great that all cables were included. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that there is backlighting in a few places along the edge which is visible when there are dark images on the screen. For example, if the screen is black, you may see white backlighting around the edges in some areas. Without breaking the deal I'm still very happy with it for the money and for the purpose I got it for. Now when I need to be mobile with this setup compared to the replaced MacBook Pro, I stuff the monitor in my backpack's laptop bag and stuff my Mac mini with Bluetooth keyboard and trackpad in my backpack.
