Bright, versatile, affordable, full-featured. so why am i disappointed? Parasitic discharge of the battery when the light is off. I can't leave an NP battery connected (tried different brands) without it being completely discharged for some time (see below). This is also a risk to battery life, as lithium-ion batteries don't like being fully discharged frequently. If your studio is ready to go, I highly recommend this model. Edit: As I've been reminded by other buyers, these devices are bluetooth controlled. Of course, if you only have one power button and you can "turn it on" with the remote control, that means the device's Bluetooth receiver is always on. I would have preferred an additional "hard" power button on the device, which some devices use, but I understand the trade-off. I've upped my rating and would give it 5 stars if I could 'store' it or 'put it on stage' with the battery installed.
