The product is as described but this is my first monitor purchase that is not part of a desktop purchase and I was surprised at how small the screen looks. Before deciding on the screen size, I used a ruler to model how big the monitor would be compared to my previous small monitor. Thought it would be big enough, but it isn't. I think this is because the aspect ratio is so different from my previous one which was an old fashioned not wide aspect ratio. But since I use my laptop more often and my desktop is a backup, I won't try to find another one. Also, my computer is not configured for HD. Something I didn't know before. So the monitor keeps asking me to change the resolution to make it work better. I need to find someone to help me with this because I'm just not tech savvy. So the product is ok. However, if you are not tech savvy, be aware of how widescreen is perceived and it may be necessary to upgrade your computer to fully enjoy HD.
