My wife has been unable to ride a bike for a long time due to pain in her wrists and thumb. I started looking for On-One Mary but quickly found out it was discontinued. Began looking at options from Soma, Salsa and others, but wasn't sure if it's worth spending money on those who found out that this form doesn't work. Found this bar at Revain much cheaper than others and gave it a try. Installation wasn't a problem, but it did take some effort to get the brake and shifter cables in place. The bar is wider, but not so much that you have to switch cables. The woman was immediately pleased with the new handlebar geometry (replaced with low-mountain bike-style handlebars). She says she has no wrist pain and looks forward to coming back and riding. I haven't convinced her that mustache clips look cool yet, but I'm sure that once someone compliments her, she will. Highly recommend this bar if you need a more comfortable hand position or want some relief from wrist pain.
