I bought these for my 5 year old. He is 43 inches and 43 pounds. They fit fantastic and he says they are very comfortable. We haven't worn them to the beach yet, only to the pool, but he insists he won't be wearing his other swim trunks anymore. They don't have a mesh inside, just a sewn-on lining like you see on the inside of the vyshyvanka, but much softer. Washed once, not dried. They made the pills a bit but I'm not complaining about the price. Will definitely buy them again when they are too big or worn out.
