You have to take out the batteries every time you turn it off

Cheap plastic from China but works well. Not waterproof. It was a deal breaker for me that every time we took the boat out they died before we got home. I made sure we turned them off, but they turned off anyway. I emailed Eartec and they said you should remove the batteries if you won't be using them for a long time. I told them it was just an overnight ride and they informed me that the batteries would die in 4-6 hours even with it turned off. Their solution is that every time you turn them off you have to take out the batteries. I have confirmed several people who have recommended them to me and they have confirmed that they should too. Eartec wanted to send me new batteries so I could have a kit to use and a kit to charge, but then refused because it took me 95 days to notice the defect. The battery guarantee is only 90 days. Eartec is a bunch of idiots to deal with. I worked with Quantum Networks (seller of Revain) and was able to get them back. Instead I now have the UClear HBC100 headsets that I bought for snowboarding a few years ago and I just bought their Anywhere headsets so I can use them without my landing helmet and they are AMAZING. I haven't charged my HBC100 devices since last ski season and when I got the Anywhere headsets and plugged them in they instantly turned on and paired. Still charging after a year. Look at her.
