I was so excited to get this as my 6 year old daughter chose it for her new school year and has NOT changed her mind about it. It sold out on two tries waiting to be back in stock and when it finally arrived a few days later - longer than the usual 1-2 day initial delivery - I was a little overwhelmed because the bag looks like a freaking kid's bag looked like in preschool. . Her nursery bag was larger than this one and while the graphics and colors match the image, the measurements are not the same. It was so tight it fell off her shoulders when she put it on, so buckle straps are a MUST if your little one doesn't want them falling off her shoulders any second. The material still seems solid so I'll give it to him. However it was a good buy and now she has to do it but for sure she will switch between this and her previous backpack which has lasted over 3 years and has a minnie mouse raincoat for rainy days.
