Review on Enhance Your Workout with Wireless Headphones JBL Under Armour Sport Wireless Heart Rate, white by Anastazja Steblianko ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The quality was generally satisfied, there were minor shortcomings.

Heart rate monitoring - pulse measurement technology. Interesting, of course, but even though I train, I don’t need it from the word at all, and if I had to, I would rather buy a fitness bracelet with heart rate measurement and a pedometer. Yes, there are almost identical headphones from the same series without this sensor, but it seemed to me that they would not fit well on me, since they do not wrap behind the ears, but simply tuck into the ears. Often the touch button on the right earpiece is pressed with anything but the hand. This drowns out the music and a female voice (not the most pleasant, in fact) reports that the sensor is on. After a short amount of time passes, it is reported that the pulse is found, and sometimes, it is worth noting, the pulse is not found, even if the left earpiece with the sensor is put on. You need to turn it off by long pressing the right earphone, and so every time. Summary after 5 months of use: Headphones are ideal for those who will use headphones exclusively for training, and one workout lasts no more than 3 hours; and also careful with technology; wants a clear sound, but unpretentious to low frequencies.

Pros
  • 1. Comfortable and secure fit. There are ear pads in different sizes. The console is comfortable. 2. IPX5 - splash proof. You can use it in the shower and in the rain, but, of course, I do not advise washing it under the tap. 3. Informing about the actions of the headphones, like: "Looking for device", "Battery low", "Battery critical" (all in English)
Cons
  • 1. Doubtful strength. On the official website of JBL it is written that their advantage is durability. I have a bow at the junction with the earpiece just broke off. The internal wires (yes, the earbuds aren't that wireless) are fine, so the earbuds work, but the earpiece doesn't hold up properly. In fact, there is a very vulnerable place. As far as I remember, I went to bed with asmr sounds in these headphones, the next morning the headphones were already broken under the pillow (my mistake, of course, but these headphones will definitely not remain in their original state from relatively strong deformations). 2. The sound is not loud enough + There is almost no soundproofing (it is definitely not an option to use on an airplane, in the subway). 3. The battery at high volume (it always has to be like this, see point 2) lasts about 2-3 hours. This would be compensated by fast charging, but no, they charge 1.5-2 hours. 4. The Bluetooth connection is unstable and there may be interference depending on the location of your phone.
