This three-barreled iron is awesome! It heats up very quickly, there are two temperature settings. Both are pretty hot, but I'd put them in the medium-high category. There are only two of them, there is no gradual setting at all, but to make it worthwhile I use a longer hold low setting after spraying some heat protectant on my hair.
