What can I say, this is an alarm clock, it does what it is supposed to do. Don't expect much from the radio. The only thing that bothers me is the battery. BATTERY BATTERY BATTERY! This is not suitable for your regular 9V batteries as it requires a specific type (IEC code 6F22 to be precise). Specifications can be found in the manual and on the battery cover. This can only be an issue if you want battery backup. These batteries are high performance industrial batteries and will set you back at least $5 each compared to a standard 9 volt battery. Most stores don't even have them. A Google search returned results from the UK and China. Regular 9V Engergizers and Duracells have IEC codes 6LR61. My sister and I have two of these clock radios and have tried different brands of batteries with no success. However, we have not tried 6F22 or 8F22 (more common). Hope that helps.
