Filter ok but not as good as LG filter
I am returning this filter before using it as it does not have the same NSF certifications as the actual LG LT1000P filter. The original LG filter that comes with the refrigerator is NSF 42, 53 and 401 certified and can be checked on the NSF website. I use a genuine LG filter that costs $50, but I can find under $10 a month for safer, better filtered water.
