Foot Oil is great. There's a reason he has such a dedicated fan base and has been popular for 100 years. It works. I use this horse skin care oil on my sling block. The horse fur is too hard. The skin of the slingshot block should deform slightly when the knife blade is drawn across it. Foots oil softened the horse's skin sufficiently, but it took several applications. I took off a star because the valve cap on the bottle always drips and runs off to the side. It's okay, but it's a hassle to wash the bottle after each use.
