Review on πŸ”Œ AGPtek Drive Adapter Converter External: Streamline Your Connectivity and Enhance Storage Performance by Ans Brownlee

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I bought it because my old laptop thought it was .

I bought this because my old laptop decided it didn't want to bother with its charging port anymore and so became a brick when the battery died. I haven't backed up my data in I don't know how long and I needed a fresh copy of everything on my hard drive. This product allowed me to plug my old hard drive (easily removed from a laptop by accessing its own control panel and two screws on the bottom of my machine) directly into my new computer's USB port and move all my files around as if it the hard drive would be any other storage device. There are no instructions, so all you have to do is see which plugs go where. The setup looks ridiculous and wrong, but just plug in the options until it works. Build quality is poor, and there are strands of hot glue and dabs of glue on all wire connections, but it's (hopefully) a one-time use product and costs less than $12, and it's allowed me to keep my files safe without building hundreds shell out. for a pro. I call it a win.
