Works great.
For many years I have had issues with the front door lights not turning on at dusk and the extremely short lifespan of the light bulbs used in the light activated device. Tried different devices with no success. Then I saw and ordered 4 packs of DEWENWILS Dusk to Dawn Light Bulb 4-Pack. Removed the fancy on/off device and just screwed in a DEENWILS lightbulb and haven't had any problems since. I shared the remaining onions with my sons, who had a similarly positive experience. This on/off switchable lightbulb is definitely suitable.
