I use them to border some shorts that I find too short. I bought a pair of shorts: the gray paper bag style, the black nautical style, and the black and white striped nautical style, all of which fit well but didn't have room for my round butt. So I sewed on this lace to be a bit more modest. I have to be careful because they're still short, but this tip really helps. I like a very feminine look because I'm very curvy and that's why the shorts suit me very well. I haven't used brown lace yet, but I'll find a use for it.
