The material is thicker than I expected, but it is great for the cold winter. I mean it is not a thermal legging, but if you are running (you get hot) and this is perfect for intense workout during the cold days. The material is stretchable, and also feels great quality. I really love the side pockets on my leggings, where I can always put my phone or cards (but I don't run with anything in my pockets because they may slide out). It is high waist and the length is a little bit longer than my ankle. The size fits perfectly though (not loose not restrictive). I am 5'4' and 115 lbs and I got size small. The leggings are not see through and they do not ride down during a run (both are very important for me). Nothing to complain about, so I give the leggings 5 stars!
