Final Rating (TLDR): My final verdict: They are "ok" for $12. They seem to last about 30 days (in my possession) before mysteriously disappearing. Cracks - In practice the glass gets very dirty throughout the day so you'll either have to live with smudges or have to clean it every hour - The protection leaves a gap around the edge of the Pixel GLASS front panel. (covers about 96% of Gorilla GLASS) This is both good and bad: good because the small gap makes it safer for the case bad because a thinner case creates a gap between the edge of the screen protector and the edge of your case . (Not really) Blame LK as they can't service every phone case, but I'm just pointing this out. - Leaves a 1mm air bubble around the edge but for $4 each I can't complain, would I buy it again? Possibly, but I would prefer something with a better oleophobic coating. I hope this information helps you with your purchase. LAST TIP, I SWEAR: I ended up buying their other LK 3 pack screen protector (the one with the rounded cutout for the proximity sensor, not the square one). SIGNIFICANTLY BETTER. Installation is pretty much the same, there is still about 1mm of air bubble around the edges. BUT: - The other 3 packs don't have the large camera cutout like this one, so the screen is better protected. - In fact, the other 3 packs have a (much better) oleophobic coating that doesn't smudge. The other 3 packs are cheaper at only $9. Adding a protector doesn't affect the touch response of the screen. Comes with a plastic centering guide to ensure your rig is centered. Fits well in my clear VRS case with plenty of room. Also comes with 3 full sets of wipes for each jar. The only problem is that there are tiny buoyancy/air pockets at the edges of the tread. They're only about 1mm wide so I'm still very happy with them. Only time will tell how long the defender lasts. I would recommend it. Screen protectors also came with a free wireless charger offer. I accepted their offer and after I posted it on social media they followed and submitted it. This is a cheap wireless charger, but yes it works (charges slowly). ---------- ------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------- --------------- ----------- 1st update: Had a chance to give one to a friend and compare it to the ZAGG hardened screen protector on his Otterbox screen protector. The ZAGG protection is better clear when viewed from the side (image included), but it's not as noticeable in person/on screen. The ZAGG also felt like it had moderately better adhesion and the edges held up better without tearing. ZAGG stays LOTS CLEAN all day with minimal smudging. A NOTICE. The big bubbles on the Otterbox case was only caused by the Otterbox case touching/interfering with the screen protector ------------ --- - ---------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------- 2nd update: The bigger problem I noticed is that the glass needs to be cleaned daily as the screen gets dirty almost every hour. This means that the screen is difficult to see, especially in the sun. The product says it has an oleophobic coating which I find hard to believe. I took off a star and changed my overall rating from good to 'good'.
