I was thrilled to receive this for my Surface Book which has been having overheating issues since I started working from home and being in ZOOM and TEAMS meetings all day to sit. I looked at several laptop stands. but they all worked on condition that the laptop is open and I don't need it. Luckily I came across this one. You have to fiddle with it a bit to get the spacing right, and it uses an Allen wrench to control it, so there's no quick loosening or adjustment. However, once installed, it works great and keeps the device stable. and vertical!
