Light to underpowered but may be a feature for some. The tripod design seems unique to this holder and can not easy to be used with anything else that uses a tripod. The main holder is attached with a ball with a plastic clip. I'm a strong person and often couldn't clamp tight enough to keep my iPad from drifting. I use it, to play music so it's bad.The iPad clip itself then attaches to the ball head with 4 tiny tabs that seem to snap into slots.It shifts fairly easily and I've accidentally done it twice already.Too late um to return it but I can't use it and don't trust him.
