I bought this specifically for my quilt block sewing machine. It's a great idea, but hard to get them to adapt and stay in place. The flexible neck is too flexible. When I place it where I want it, the neck wants to go back in the direction I moved it. And trying to adjust the line laser for precise alignment is frustrating and never accurate due to the overly flexible neck. Fine-tuning is a pain in the ass. I aim the laser as close as possible, try to align the laser line and... No! Everything wobbles again because the neck won't stay in place. I would love if the neck was a little stiffer. I might try wrapping it in wire or something else to add a bit more rigidity to see if that helps. I love that it's rechargeable and portable (use it on a cutting table).
