I have a lot of monitor stands because of my work and hobbies. There must be more than a dozen. In any case, each of these coasters is exactly that, just coasters, whether metal or plastic, small or large. And they usually get the job done. However, I'm always on the lookout for stands that do little more than hold a monitor or other items steady. These monitor stand pros can be both surprisingly rare and surprisingly expensive. Luckily, in the case of this adjustable monitor stand from 3M, the included 4-port USB hub is about the most logical addition to a quality stand, and it's not overly expensive either. I'm generally happy with a regular stance, but either way there's no denying the value of making better use of the space you're taking up. Especially for me I have an older HPENVY 27-b114 AiO PC as one of my add-on systems that I need to improve and also increase the availability of its USB ports. This 3M stand provides 3 USB 2.0 ports (white) and 1 USB 3.0 port (blue) as part of a hub from a single USB 3.0 cable. Of course, you can still plug the cable into a USB 2.0 port, but you won't get the full speed or bandwidth that you get with a 3.0 port. Height adjustable with simple snap-on adapters from 2.7" to 3.9". There is 18.4″ spacing between the legs, it takes a decent amount of force to deploy but they are fairly stable once fully inserted. Of course, all this space is practical and especially useful for the way I intend to use it, as you can see from the photos. While I'll never hit the 33-pound weight limit, it's nice to know it can handle that kind of load. The USB hub itself works well and there were no issues in my testing. The throughput meets my expectations for each of the port types. If you're looking for a quality monitor stand that can do a little more, then the 3M Adjustable Monitor Stand with 4-Port USB Hub does the job perfectly at a reasonable price. this type of product.
