Review on πŸ‘Ά Simplicity Wilton ABC Blocks Baby Shower Centerpiece: Adorable 8" L x 5" W x 14.5" H Decoration Delight by Jessica Lewis

This is a good set to start with.

This is a good starter kit. The directions are good, there is a (what I would call) PATTERN/TOP PLATE that should act as a pie circle for the weight of the entire project. . Will not happen. You'll need to reinforce it with your own cardboard if you want it to be durable. However, it is cute with little baby feet on it. If you want to keep it simple, this set will do. If you want to upgrade it, you can go to a dollar store and buy baby shower supplies and stick it around a duct tape, mini baby products (lotion, bath, etc.). a bottle of baby detergent in the center and diapers around it, I found it much better to hot glue a cardboard tube of paper towel down to the cardboard center and use that as the center of the diaper. I also cut out a piece of cardboard to reinforce the one they gave you, used plastic/cloth (whatever) to cover it on the bottom, hot glued the cardboard to hide the fabric the I placed on the bottom piece of cardboard I used starches. (this issue was fixed immediately) Also note that this seems to focus more on "BOY" with blue ribbon, more blue in some other decor so you may need to buy pink ribbon etc. This is a very helpful starter set. . worth the money, i'm only giving low stars because of the poor cake base which maybe really should make it a little cheaper.

Pros
  • With a gender neutral color palette, you can reuse this centerpiece for early birthdays, birth announcements and gender reveal parties.
Cons
  • Some small things
