The material is great but due to the memory foam it took a few hours to "air out" like most memory foam products. Although it was expected. I was a bit skeptical about the whole "contour pillow" thing, but after trying it, I totally got it. Very comfortable as a bed! The armhole seems a bit unnecessary, but welcome nonetheless. I can also lie comfortably on my back with it, so back sleepers should also be able to enjoy it. It's like a bed pillow compressed into the perfect shape for you; what more do you want? Complaints: I wish it was a little thicker. My shoulders are quite broad and a thicker base would make it easier to sleep on my side. I was almost tempted to put a pillow under my pillow but that would probably add too much height. I just want half an inch to an inch more. However, at my current height, I can still sleep comfortably in it, so this is by no means a deal breaker. Another thing is that the odd shape makes it inconvenient to put it in a pillowcase, but I guess that's to be expected. I recommend trying it if you are interested. That's a really good pillow!
