I ordered this product because my voice is very small and it is difficult for other people to hear me in a noisy environment. The mic barely picked up my voice, even when clipped as close to my mouth as I could reach without actually holding it. I gave this product 3 stars because it amplified a friend's voice who was speaking in a normal tone. She noted that the microphone didn't pick up her voice when she wore it on her lapel. She had to attach it to the collar for it to work. I hope this review is helpful.
