Pop-up drains should be a thing of the past, but at least it makes my life easier

Let me start by saying that pop-up drains are one of mankind's greatest failings, and I'm baffled as to why I still have long, curly/wavy, incredibly thick hair and am very proud of it. Hair like mine and retractable drains have been at war since those damn things started showing up in the shower (huh). So I bought this little ring to prevent clogging. It is incredibly flexible and easy to put on and take off. The water flows fairly easily given the small masses of hair trying to get into the ring and drain. Overall I am satisfied with this product. He does what he has to do. Warns prospective buyers with little patience: You must wait until the water has completely drained before attempting to remove or clean the ring. If you're that worried about the wait, go dry and come back. If you don't apply it properly, your hair will still fall out. Make sure the flat edge is on the inside when the ring is UNDER your pop up drain head. In summary, we live in a world where retractable drains exist and unfortunately no product is perfect enough to truly fix the nasty. pop up drain. However, this one is affordable and works well. Better than my alternative, cut your hair and let the pop plum win.
