This block should replace the exact copy of the one that broke in our old pop-up during this year's upgrade. It was stamped "1995". First you need to make sure all your connections are free of air leaks as this will not work. Still, plus checking and reinstalling all the connections, replacing hose clamps, and hours of work to get it working, it just wasn't sucking up water. I ended up using a completely different item, not one that supports two ports :( , and got water within a few seconds of pumping. This would mean my plumbing was fine and the unit defective. It will be returned. Unfortunately, there are no good options for a faucet that supports both a city water connection (hose) and a fresh water tank connection.
