They flatten out quickly
I bought the side larger than my pillowcase and when I first put them together they were perfect. We don't abuse them, but sometimes we use them behind the head or behind the back. They seemed to have shrunk and no longer completely filled the cover like they initially did and became a bit flat. I suppose for pure decoration they would be ok but I would buy them 2 sizes bigger than the covers if you want them to stand out.
