Put this on my 2009 Kawasaki KLR 650 and it works great. It was also loose when tightening the bolt, so I removed the brake lever and bent the metal tighter (down the bolt). After that it sits perfectly on the shift bolt and I'm very happy with it. If you buy this brake lever, just make sure it is tight before tightening the bolt, or you risk tearing off the inside of the brake lever and buying a new one. Don't ask me how I found out.
