This looks really good and goes perfectly with my bedroom decor. But from the day I put it on I could tell it wasn't very durable. At least there were no catches. I had wood and metal over a door hanger that held two separate shoe organizers in the closet. He held them well, but was not very pleasing to the eye. So I bought it hoping it would complement my room's decor. It did when only half a shoe fit him than the other. On the first day one of the thin metal hooks was so bent that my husband had to take it off to see if he could fix it. Within two minutes of removing one hook, all three of the other hooks began to bend! This thing only had shoes. that's what it was made for! The. . Valid. HELL?! I've had several hanging shoe organizers over the years and have never had one that didn't last even a day. The hooks were rubbish. Apparently. We took it off and went to the local hardware store for sturdier single hooks. We rehung it with separate hooks we bought and all looked fine. For some days. Apparently the organizer itself is scrap, because one of the metal eyelets ripped out! I'm glad I noticed before they all collapsed under the weight of the shoes and everything fell to the floor along with all my shoes. Sure, at least half of my shoes in this piece were flip flops, Nike flip flops, or thin women's sandals. There were several pairs of tennis shoes (two of which were light sneakers) and 3 heels (the heaviest shoes). God forbid you all have heavier shoes!
