Great steering accessory idea
I have a canopy that keeps my car shaded but when the sun goes down it comes in through the driver's side window and when I have to get in the car in the late afternoon the steering wheel is very hot. I used a towel but we had 56+100 days and it just didn't cut. Blinds may or may not make a huge difference, I can't tell yet, but every little thing helps. All three parts fold up fairly easily for storage.
