The other day my old school blender broke down and I decided it was time for a new one anyway as my old one was terrible at blending smoothie bowls. I've spent a lot of time looking for the best blender and came across this one that was advertised as a smoothie bowl and even went so far as to have a bowl option on the menu. It was a bit pricey but I figured if it worked then it was worth it. When I received it I didn't realize how big it was compared to my old one. This isn't a problem for me at all, especially when I'm making smoothie bowls for more than one person. When I tested it, as other reviewers have said, it was pretty loud, but honestly, what blender isn't? And if it's doing its job, who cares about the noise. I like really thick smoothie bowls so I don't have to run the bowl function 3 times to blend them. Do it once with this blender and everything will be blended. Very impressed and I hope it lasts me a while!
