Grafix KATP811 Artist-Tac Permanent Dry Adhesive Sheets

I purchased Grafix KATP811 Artist-Tac Permanent Dry Adhesive Sheets (pack of 25), 8.5" x 11". I did as instructed. I lifted off the protective sheet, placed my item on the adhesive side, and then placed the protective sheet on the item. My first attempt with it... I had a wedding photo glued to a filigree scrapbooking frame. I needed an Artist-Tac for a delicate frame attached to a photograph. When I followed the instructions the photo from the top sheet also had glue. Thus, there were spots of glue from the sticky film on the protective film. Went online to see how to remove glue from the front of a photo. The listings were NOT from Artist-Tac. The father of the bride was wearing a black tuxedo and when the glue dried you could actually see the dots of glue. It was not visible on the bride's white dress. It was recommended to let the glue dry and remove it with your fingernail. That does not work. Another suggestion was to freeze the photo and it would also come off your fingernail. This didn't work either. Then I tried another suggestion... before photographing, wash with a warm damp cloth to remove the glue. It worked. The second time I tried the adhesive sheet, attached the photo to the filigree frame with the adhesive side, placed a plain sheet of paper over the photo, and then placed the protective sheet on top of the plain paper. This will now be my go-to for sticky sheets. In every video I've seen, they do exactly what the instructions say on the printed sheet inside the box. I couldn't find any "hints" anywhere on what NOT to do. Although the glue is good, I'm giving it 3 stars for lack of "tips".
