No thick cover.

This is great for using die cuts for gluing to another sheet of paper, but not so good if you are using it for a polished shine effect. This shows up as tiny dots when covered in micro glitter, not the effect I was looking for as I wanted my glitter finish to look smooth and flat. If you're looking for paper to paper glue it's very easy, no air bubble problem so that's a plus, I just want the glue to be really strong for my particular project.

Pros
  • Brilliantly Done
Cons
  • No Auto

Affordable alternative to StudioTac

As efficient as StudioTac. It was a bit confusing to figure out which side was the sticky side. Some of the sticky substance comes off in tiny specks, and when it landed on my fingers, both sides felt the same. As far as I could scream, both sides looked the same. I could tell that one side was stickier than the other after brushing off most of the loose sticky patches. I still recommend it. Aside from a moment of confusion, it worked great and is more economical than the StudioTac.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Annoying

Ideal for die cutting

This is 1 of 2 adhesive sheets that I use for die cutting. This one works better when you may need to reposition. It has glue dots instead of full glue. It can be moved until you click on it before final placement. I use Cameo 3 for cutting and it cuts great. I like that it's the same size as a regular piece of paper, so it doesn't need to be cut. The only thing missing is a detachable piece on top to align with the box. I usually just bend the protective film a little to straighten it.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • New competitors

Great product and very economical!

Dotted pens are very expensive, don't always bring all the dots and a lot of plastic waste. These point sheets are perfect!1. I can use almost every point! I can't tell you how annoying it is when a tape pen rolls unused points into a tape pen and is lost forever. I paid for these points and have to throw them away.2. They are very inexpensive. Artist-Tac sheets give you twice as many points as dot tape pens.3. They leave no sticky marks on the edges of my die-cuts.4. I will not fill the…

Pros
  • EASY TO USE - Simply spread the liner, put what you want to stick on the dots and peel off with enough glue. Artist-Tac can also be trimmed to cover even the most irregular of shapes!
Cons
  • boring packaging

Grafix KATP811 Artist-Tac Permanent Dry Adhesive Sheets

I purchased Grafix KATP811 Artist-Tac Permanent Dry Adhesive Sheets (pack of 25), 8.5" x 11". I did as instructed. I lifted off the protective sheet, placed my item on the adhesive side, and then placed the protective sheet on the item. My first attempt with it... I had a wedding photo glued to a filigree scrapbooking frame. I needed an Artist-Tac for a delicate frame attached to a photograph. When I followed the instructions the photo from the top sheet also had glue. Thus, there were spots of

Pros
  • CONTAMINATION FREE INSTALLATION - Grafix Artist-Tac consists of two protective inserts that open to reveal micro dots of adhesive. Apply an ultra-thin layer of adhesive dots to the surface without any mess or tools while maintaining full edge-to-edge coverage.
Cons
  • Long Lead Time

I just finished my first job with this material so I'd better post some observations. First, it's clearly not cheap, so using it effectively is important. By that I mean using as much adhesive surface as possible and leaving as little waste as possible. It depends to some degree on the nature of your project, really the size and shape of your pieces. My work is a plate cut out of paper. Think Matisse. Many custom sizes. The most effective approach I've found is to place a series of parts on the

Pros
  • Acid Free - Grafix Artist-Tac is acid free making it ideal for precision manipulation of photos, paper, card, plastic and more!
Cons
