The trimmer itself seems to work very well and there are more attachments than anyone could possibly need. So why only 2 stars? Spring. I bought this trimmer for my beard and I really only need it to trim my beard reliably and evenly. For this I used the adjustable guard that came with it, which seems to cover the entire length needed to maintain my beard. Unfortunately, although I have yet to burn through the initial charge, I have already experienced several failures of the adjustable protection to keep it set. This is just unacceptable because if the guard setting fails, it abruptly slides into the next setting, spoiling my beard in the process!
