Review on ๐Ÿ›๏ธ Utopia Bedding Duvet Cover Queen Size Set: Ultra Soft 3-Piece Comforter Cover with Zipper Closure - Queen, White by Mayra Rodriguez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Soft, comfortable, clean sheet - in a sheet! *Remove sticker before washing!

Update: It's been six months now. This duvet cover continues to hold up well. No pilling. It's spring now, so the cat sheds a little; Hair doesn't tend to stick to it any more than anything, so that's a bonus. I scroll quickly with the lint roller and everything is fine. We actually had to re-sew some of the ties holding the duvet in place, just like I envisioned. It doesn't matter, if you have a needle and thread, it will take you less than 5 minutes to attach better. All in all it was a good buy. First Review: This duvet cover is soft to the touch and creates a soft, comfortable feel. If you want crispy, look elsewhere. There are ribbons in each corner as it should be to tie to the loops of your pad. If there's one part of this duvet cover that we might need to adjust, it's those ties. They're hidden, yes, they just might not last. The time will show. If necessary, they are very easy to replace with a few stitches. I don't care about the price! The zipper on this gray suitcase is white. It's recessed under the fabric, and the edge is draped over the bed so you can't see it. It's smooth and we didn't have to cut the threads. I love that it's a simple background for any throw pillows I want to use so I can change the look at any time. I also love that duvet covers are machine washable. This replaces the navy blue that attracted too much lint so it never looked clean. This one doesn't seem to do that at all. Pet hair won't even stick to it, and the cat (who owns the whole house) has made this soft blanket her favorite spot. She has no undercoat so thin hair might be different; I don't know anything about it. There are other reviewers who have posted photos in better light after it looked its best. I show how we experience it before and after work, by lamplight, with no fuss. You could make it look better, and you probably have to make an effort to make it look worse if that's the goal lol! For the price, it's a great investment to keep the insert - the part that actually keeps you warm - from wearing out too quickly, as you can easily wash this cover the most. It keeps the insert clean. If you're new to using duvet covers, note that they never come with an insert, and that's part of their beauty - you choose the type of insert you want if it has loops for tying, or you add your own added. Plan to use queen-size pillows as cushion inserts; The standard size makes the pads too flexible and this is unbearable even for people like me who are not picky. One final note, before washing and using this, be sure to locate and remove the large test sticker inside the duvet cover. You do NOT want it to go through the wash. Well, so be it! I hope it helps. Let me know and happy shopping!
