I've used these a number of times on trailers now. The number is not because of the product, but because I have a habit of backing into ponds without an actual ramp and destroying lights. I have also used these on bait tanks and bilge pumps. Thus far I have not had any failures that can be attributed to this product. I use a mini heat gun and each union does take a few minutes of back and forth with a mini heat gun. I also take an extra few minutes usually now to put a layer of shrink wrap over that as cheap insurance with long-term use hoped for with the created connections. I think this is the best option now for marine and vehicle connections though not the quickest.
