Good But Hot: Weighted Blanket

I have insomnia where I can fall asleep easily but wake up after a few hours and cannot go back to sleep. There are so many factors that go into sleep that it's hard to say for sure if this blanket helped, but I think it did. Pandemic life goes on as stressful as usual, but I get more sleep at night. It's nice to curl up under the weight! However, many reviews say this blanket is not "hot". My experience is the opposite. No wonder - it offers half an inch of insulation and prevents body heat from escaping - it doesn't let air through. I like to sleep in the cold so YMMV.
