Great value for money weighted blanket

This is my first weighted comforter but I love it. It's not too warm, but the weight is great. I've followed the chart of what size and weight duvet I need and have slept better for the past few weeks than I have in months and months. The gray also went perfectly with my current bedroom decor.

Pros
  • 10 built-in loops for attaching blanket; can be used alone or with the Amazon Basics removable down cover sold separately

Quality construction at a reasonable price

There's nothing more reassuring than a weighted blanket! This one from Revain Basics feels like quality construction and the outer layer is soft and smooth to the touch. I use my weighted blanket when I'm lying on the couch relaxing and it helps increase my comfort level exponentially. I also plan to use it as an extra layer of warmth before bed during the winter months. The price corresponds to the quality. Highly recommended!

  • Brought in

Just one complaint about weighted comforters

This is an amazing weighted comforter! The beads that give it weight are sewn into small square patches that are spaced from time to time to give it even weight. I was so excited about this because some blankets aren't sewn into such small squares and just move freely and the weight is never evenly distributed. The ONLY thing that is not good is that it does not come with a duvet cover and you have to buy it separately. Just in case anyone didn't know. DO NOT WASH THE REAL GREAT BLANKET! You're

Good But Hot: Weighted Blanket

I have insomnia where I can fall asleep easily but wake up after a few hours and cannot go back to sleep. There are so many factors that go into sleep that it's hard to say for sure if this blanket helped, but I think it did. Pandemic life goes on as stressful as usual, but I get more sleep at night. It's nice to curl up under the weight! However, many reviews say this blanket is not "hot". My experience is the opposite. No wonder - it offers half an inch of insulation and prevents body heatโ€ฆ

Pros
  • 60" x 80" 12lb weighted blanket evenly distributes weight for a relaxing and restful night's sleep; Use on full or double bed
Cons
  • I will be silent

Good size, comfortable weight. Nice gray colour. Duvet cover required

This is the perfect weighted duvet. Doesn't fry, helps with RLS, has a nice gray cast and is subtly soft. The only downside to this special weighted blanket is that you have to buy a duvet cover. I didn't know about this when I bought the duvet, so I had to go back to buy the duvet. They are sold as a set, which I was not aware of until I received the duvet and found it clean. The duvet cover keeps the duvet clean and you can dry the duvet on the gentle cycle and cold water with a gentle dryer.

Pros
  • The duvet cover covers the top edge of the bed and is only intended to cover the wearer's body to ensure optimal weight distribution and to prevent the duvet from sliding down.

Good value for money

I had a more expensive ยฃ20 blank from another company so I was a bit hesitant when I saw it at a much lower price. It worked as advertised. 15 pounds was a good weight for me, although common sense says it's 10% of your body weight. It's supposed to be an all-weather blanket. This could be true if it was the only blanket on the bed. I have used it with the top sheet, duvet and bedspread and found it warm. I suppose if I had this single blanket it might work. In the end I returned it. Notโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Clean stains with a damp cloth only; do not bleach, do not tumble dry, do not iron or dry clean
Cons
  • So far so good
