I had a more expensive £20 blank from another company so I was a bit hesitant when I saw it at a much lower price. It worked as advertised. 15 pounds was a good weight for me, although common sense says it's 10% of your body weight. It's supposed to be an all-weather blanket. This could be true if it was the only blanket on the bed. I have used it with the top sheet, duvet and bedspread and found it warm. I suppose if I had this single blanket it might work. In the end I returned it. Not because of the quality or even the extra warmth. I couldn't get used to the constant weight. I sleep on my side and toss and turn a little. I woke up more often because I couldn't turn around. The other reason was that I also sleep on the edge so I had to dangle a bit from my side to stay covered which seemed to add a bit of weight. If you sleep mostly on your back or stomach, or don't toss and turn, this is a great product. When I was napping with another blanket on the chair, I loved the comfort it offered. Like a full body hug. I understand why people love them.
