I ran into a bit of a dilemma in my studio recently when I ran out of slots on my main USB hub. I thought about buying a bigger hub, but I also had extra USB-C hubs to use. The main problem was that all of my USB-C hubs were too short. So I went looking for USB-C extenders and came across this one from Conmdex. I love the fact that it has an angled connector for my computer because it will be very helpful for me when setting up the laptop in its final destination. The price was really good too, so I decided to give it a try. As soon as I received the package, I opened it and was pleasantly surprised at the excellent build quality. The connectors are metal and the cable itself is thick and braided to avoid damage or unnecessary tangling. I connected my devices to a USB-C hub and then an extension cable to my 2019 MacBook Pro. Everything works like clockwork! I have three devices connected to my USB-C hub connected to the extension: my Electra1 midi controller, my Modius audio DAC, and my external backup drive. I tested all devices and they work great with this extension. Functionally, the cable works great, aesthetically it looks very good (I like the gray + black color scheme) and it has a high build quality. What more could you ask for, right? This is great value for money and I would highly recommend it. 5 stars from me!
