Review on Melissa & Doug Dress-Up Construction Set for Preschoolers by Edris Holwell

This is an all wooden toy featuring three characters - Mom, Dad and Bear. The set contains 45 pieces, 5 tops, 5 bottoms and 5 faces. All can be neatly stowed away in a divided wooden box with a sliding lid. The outfits for this bear are interchangeable, which means that you cannot dress any other bear in a mama bear outfit and so on. My baby loves that emotions are expressed on every face. This is a big plus as we can come up with a story or situation that suits that person. This is a good conversation starter and develops their verbal skills. For the puzzle I received, the Mama Bear pieces fit a little tight so my 23 month old needs help with this. Otherwise I think that with a little practice he will soon be able to solve this puzzle on his own. Qualitatively, I may peel off some parts a bit in the future. But that doesn't stop me from buying it again. I think kids aged 2-4 will enjoy this puzzle while developing their verbal, motor and pattern recognition skills.
