We had an old used crib that worked but as we will be sharing a room with our toddler we wanted something smaller. It fits perfectly in a room with a double bed already built in and still offers the child enough space to grow. It was less than 2 weeks before delivery when I assembled it myself. It's actually quite easy, but I had a bit of a problem adding the shelf that the mattress sits on, things didn't fit perfectly so I had to apply more pressure by screwing a screw into the tight space. It's cumbersome, but not impossible. How to lower the mattress. I know I'll have to revisit this and wish they would make it easier, but everything will be fine. The color was a little less blue than the pictures I saw but I was expecting it as I work with color (both digital and real) for a living. I am very happy with the color.
