This product has been working great on my old horses for over a month. Both of my horses are 26 years old and have money problems because they can't chew hay as well as they used to. I thought I'd try. Our pasture is muddy (grass is hard to find in AZ for our small pastures) and I feed the horses water soaked Bermuda/Alfalfa pellets and senior feed. My only horse is what they call "light warden" and I was hoping he would still eat mostly hay with a bit more refined feed. This hay net was a great solution. My horse only gets a small amount at a time and there is no service and less waste! It can graze all day without adding any extra forage. The carabiner on one of the hay nets broke after a month, but it's easy to replace. The stitch quality is very good. There is no wear and tear on the woven mesh. I use the bottom two rails of the stall to attach the netting, wrapping it around each at least once when I can. I have it low because I want them to bend over to eat as usual. You can of course hang it higher if you're worried about it being that low.
