I'm helping my horse with an ulcer!

I needed to fetch/store grass hay in front of my 9 year old mare who was recently diagnosed with an ulcer. With very small 1 inch meshes, this product makes a great extra feed bag. I fill two bags - one with a larger mesh and this one - twice a day and it seems the food stays right in front of her. , I was just counting on this bag, she got hungry trying to push the hay through a small net and made a hole in the bottom of the bag. .) Withstood my hay feeder when it was in the stable!

When my horse (which can quickly pick up 4 flakes of hay and has a belly to prove it) had to be stabled for several weeks, I bought two of these nets, believing that one wouldn't even last one Week. We have rectangular hoops that are mounted on barn walls for hanging nets, but we've had much success with almost no hay net on the market. They can last a few weeks, maybe a month if there are many participants. They're guaranteed to break when I'm out of town. However, I tried this network…

Great for slowing down my hungry horse!

This product has been working great on my old horses for over a month. Both of my horses are 26 years old and have money problems because they can't chew hay as well as they used to. I thought I'd try. Our pasture is muddy (grass is hard to find in AZ for our small pastures) and I feed the horses water soaked Bermuda/Alfalfa pellets and senior feed.
