I needed to fetch/store grass hay in front of my 9 year old mare who was recently diagnosed with an ulcer. With very small 1 inch meshes, this product makes a great extra feed bag. I fill two bags - one with a larger mesh and this one - twice a day and it seems the food stays right in front of her. , I was just counting on this bag, she got hungry trying to push the hay through a small net and made a hole in the bottom of the bag. .) Adapting her by adding a second sack provided her with just the right amount of hay at a reasonable price. I would say - were it not for the hole she made in the bottom of the bag - this product was almost perfect for our needs.
