I ordered this from LD for my 5 year old. She was so excited when it arrived and couldn't wait to put it on. She is 45 pounds, 45 inches and wears an XS/S in Target clothing - I ordered a 6T for her thinking she would be perfect. And so it was. Until we wash it. This is because the dress shrunk badly and barely matched her shirt length. We've been wearing leggings ever since, but she's still constantly tugging at the sleeves and chest, which are now too tight. very disappointed considering it was washed properly and was true to size initially - if it was too small straight out of the box I would have exchanged for a larger size. This is an adorable dress with beautiful detailing to be sized and hand wash/hang ready.
