Smells very bad

This professional mop is long. My windows aren't necessarily that high, but there's a hedge in front of them. I need extra length so I don't get scratched by the bushes. The microfiber towel holds water for a very long time, so drying it in the sun helps. I was hoping for wipers that could be done in one movement, but they don't. I had to walk over the same spot multiple times to wipe off all the water. The inside of the tube smells like pure gasoline. It's fine if you put the pieces together, but if you plan on storing it unassembled, it needs a ventilated area.
