This vest saved a life! Our dog has an autoimmune disease that affects the skin. His neck and back were constantly itching and he could catch an infection and his wound never healed. We ordered everything, tried everything from bandanas to post-op outfits, wide bandages around the neck and collars. It was summer when the weather was hot so we wanted something that was breathable and thick enough for him to scratch his paws. This vest was great. It is breathable, lightweight but thick enough to prevent it from reaching the wound. It washes so well, fast and is so easy to put on.
