I bought based on the product description that it was Apple MFi certified which is not the case. With my iPad, the phone stopped connecting after a few days, which is usually the case with non-MFi certified charging cables. I've tried different outlets around the house (all reinstalled by a professional electrician) just to make sure it wasn't a faulty outlet connection and no, the other cords I have work fine but not this charger / these cables.
